SpiderwebZ have serviced/taken over several sites that were designed by large Web Design companies that have gone bust! It was a nightmare getting the Service Providers to release the Internet address.

It was also a nightmare getting the passwords and FTP Addresses from the liquidators. So if you are really going to spend thousands of pounds on a site. Make sure you have ownership of your domain name.

I was quoted a price of £235.00 from the Director of a defunct Web Company just for him to give me the passwords for a site that his company had only half designed...

So if you want Chrome Chairs and China Coffee cups make sure that you have all the passwords and permissions for your own site just in case they take your cream. I give all my customers the passwords and addresses of all the services on their site.
